Artist Statement

Small children spend a lot of time playing with life around them. They dress up and pretend they're other people, they cook imaginary meals and serve each other; they create monsters and fight or tame them.

Children reconstruct life to get a grasp of it and to alter what they don't like about it. I did this as a child and I have never stopped. I like to take ordinary life and play with it, embellish what I love about it and contradict what I believe is harmful. I like to create an atmosphere where people are inspired to play with life themselves and to laugh at it.

I have come to a point in my life where I want to collaborate with other artists. I love being with other creative human beings and having ideas expand and change. There is nothing more exciting to me then having visions grow and evolve because of collective thinking.
